About Excelerator Golf Tours
By means of background, our golf tours started out as “women” golf tours with the first tour planning starting in 2014 and taking place in 2016. We were one of the first tour operators to bring these tours to Ireland. Many tours followed and these tour guests became repeat guests as they wanted to bring their golfing spouse to Ireland on a tour which led to “mixed tours”. Now many men with their buddies are also booking with Excelerator Luxury Golf Tours as word of mouth has spread about the local knowledge of Ireland, golf courses, local connections and the attention to detail received and us going the extra mile. Previous guests have introduced their friends, family and fellow club members to us in equal measure.

There are two types of tours
1. Custom luxury tours are tailored to your group’s requirements.
2. “Tours to Join” where you can join a tour with other like-minded golfers. For friends; Couples and Sole Adventurers, these tours range from “The Castles and Links Tour” © to other exclusive tours taking in the best that Ireland offers including the world’s top ranked golf courses in the Isle of Ireland.
No component of our tour bookings is outsourced – all bookings are made directly by us for accommodation, golf, experiences and transport. This means there is tight control on quality, service and the ultimate cost. We book the best hotels, private castles, golf courses and chauffeur and executive coaches.
Our tour guests are mostly from private clubs in USA, Australia, Canada and Norway. We are delighted to welcome golfers from around the world.

Your Excelerator Luxury Golf Tour itinerary is crafted around your preferences. For some of our guests this may mean dining at a Michelin star restaurant in the heart of Dublin or Belfast, or savouring the finest fish & chips or Pub Bistro food in Killarney, Portrush or in one of the many seaside towns throughout Ireland. Some may want to explore local heritage and cultural enriching experiences away from the golf courses and other may prefer to play only golf and rest. Some may like to be hosted personally by aristocratic owners of castles and others may prefer all deluxe hotels. Some may like to be based at one or two locations, other may like to stay at many places. Many guests also like to explore Irish pubs, dancing and nightlife and others may like to unwind with a quiet meal overlooking the beach. Maybe it’s a half/half blended experience!

Our custom approach applies within the group itself. Some tour guests may prefer more golf and others may only want to explore local heritage, history and cultural enriching experiences, seaweed bath and spa treatments and shopping. A golfing tour doesn’t mean that everyone has to play golf. We cater to these guests’ expectations with the same level of service as their golfing companions. We listen to your wants and needs and use our extensive local knowledge of Ireland to craft an itinerary focused solely of the things that matter to you and your group. In Ireland there are 100s of unique options to choose from outside the TripAdvisor top 10 list. Fancy going horseback riding along the beach, visiting a diary farm hosted by family member, learn how to make Irish Gin, surfing the list is endless.
Our attention to detail is second to none. Though excellent relationships with accommodation, coach and golf providers as well as cultural and sightseeing providers, this helps us deliver the best experience for you and your guests. Hazel takes great care in visiting the accommodation and activity providers personally to ensure that they live up to the standards published. She is always looking for special bars, restaurants and cultural events to enhance guests’ experiences. Hazel has escorted many tours as the tour’s personal host and is proud of her country.
