It was an honour to hear from First Minister Michelle O’Neill, Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly, Ellvena Graham OBE FIoD Chair of Tourism NI distinguished guests including Joe Kennedy III, former US Special Envoy for Northern Ireland, and the US Consul General for Ireland.

Matthew Fitzpatrick, Li Haotong, Jacob Skov Olesen, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, and (my next-door neighbour during the tournament), Harris England, ended the day in a five-way tie -4 on top of the leaderboard. A thrilling opening round on the world top ranked course.
